CD's are available in amounts of $500.00 and up and terms from 30 days and up.
A FDIA is similar to a CD and provides the same initial interest rate but is variable. It also allows the depositor to add to the account in amounts greater than $100.00 This account can have partial or full withdrawls before maturity with a penalty.
IRAs are available in fixed and variable rates.
A good way to save or invest is U.S. Government Savings Bonds. Some customers choose savings bonds as a way to save for children's education. We provide Series EE and Series I Savings Bonds. We can also convert your Series EE bonds to Series H Bonds or redeem your bonds using the Redemption Tables available through the U.S. Treasury Department. First National Bank offers American Express Travelers Cheques to
anyone during regular lobby hours of 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday
and 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Friday. Cheques are issued in $20, $50, and $100
denominations for one or two signatures. Travelers Cheques are refundable
if lost or stolen providing that you have your receipt of purchase. First
National Bank can help you recover your loss with this receipt. See any
